Introduction

SHUTT (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is operated by Hector Leon Zarco Garcia, an individual developer based in Valencia, Spain. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the SHUTT mobile application and related services.

SHUTT is a running and fitness app that lets you overlay stats on your photos and videos. By using SHUTT, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Data We Collect

Strava Data

SHUTT requires a Strava account to function. When you connect your Strava account via OAuth, we access and store the following data from your Strava profile:

• Fitness activities (runs, rides, etc.)
• GPS routes and maps
• Activity photos
• Heart rate data
• Pace and speed data
• Distance and elevation data
• Basic profile information

Analytics Data

We use Mixpanel to collect usage analytics, such as which features are used and how the app performs. This helps us understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the app. We do not use this data for advertising.

Crash Reports

We use Sentry to collect crash reports and diagnostic information. This may include device model, operating system version, and crash stack traces. This data is used solely to identify and fix bugs.

Purchase Data

Subscription and purchase status is managed through RevenueCat. We store your subscription status to provide access to premium features. We do not have access to your payment details — all payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Push Notification Tokens

If you enable push notifications, we store your device token to send you notifications. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

How We Use Your Data

• To display your fitness activities and generate stat overlays on photos and videos.
• To provide and maintain the core functionality of the app.
• To manage your subscription and grant access to premium features.
• To send push notifications you have opted into.
• To diagnose crashes and improve app stability.
• To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the app experience.

Data Storage

Your data is stored on Supabase, hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This includes your user profile, activity data, and generated media. Photos and videos you create with SHUTT are stored via Supabase Storage.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest.

Third-Party Services

SHUTT integrates with the following third-party services:

• Strava — fitness data provider (OAuth integration).
• RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management.
• Sentry — crash reporting and error tracking.
• Mixpanel — product usage analytics.
• Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — push notifications.
• Supabase — database and file storage (hosted on AWS).

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. Your data is only shared with the third-party services listed above to the extent necessary to provide the app's functionality.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will permanently remove your data from our systems within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Revoke Strava access at any time through your Strava account settings.
• Opt out of push notifications through your device settings.

Children's Privacy

SHUTT is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the app or on our website. Your continued use of SHUTT after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
